OBS Studio is a free and open source software for video recording and live streaming. The tool can be used on any computer running Windows, Mac or Linux operating system to record screencasts or live stream content.
OBS automatically outputs to your video folder in your main documents section. You can also easily set a custom location for the recorded files to be saved to.
With their high performance real time video/audio capturing and mixing, you can create scenes made up of multiple sources including window captures, images, text, browser windows, webcams, capture cards and more. It also allows you to perform various custom transitions and adjust the audio as per your requirements with their VST plugin.
Apart from this they also have powerful configuration options, streamlined settings panel and a modular 'Dock' UI allows you to customise your layout.
